The 3in4 Association says it is moving ahead with efforts to promote long-term care insurance (LTCI) and help educate the public about the need for long-term care (LTC) planning.

The 3in4 Association, Kirkland, Wash., notes that it attracted increased support from two insurance company sponsors for the latest 3 in 4 Need more outreach campaign.

The campaign operates as a nonprofit 501(C)(6) corporation.

Genworth Financial Inc., Richmond, Va. (NYSE:GNW), helped the association conduct a consumer survey, and John Hancock, Boston (TSX:MFC), helped by putting the 3 in 4 logo on education materials it sent LTCI agents in honor of the November LTC Awareness Month effort.

The association also has added 7 members to its advisory board.

The new members are:

  • Joseph Pulitano.
  • Bill Herring.
  • Steve Dozier.
  • Mark Leighton.
  • Chris Orestis.
  • Carol Gardner.
  • Barry Eldridge.
