Pietrangelo named MDRT Foundation president

Barbara A. Pietrangelo, CFP, ChFC, has been named the 2011-2012 MDRT Foundation president.

Pietrangelo, of Ada, Mich., is a 13-year MDRT member with seven Court of the Table honors. She'll be the foundation's 46^th president.

As president, Pietrangelo will work to encourage more MDRT member to get involved in the foundations' grant programs, which give members to opportunity to secure funds for charities in their own communities. She'll also work to support the foundation's fundraising and volunteer recruitment efforts.

Pietrangelo is already a dedicated volunteer in her community, helping at the Spiritual Care Consultants counseling agency, the Green Gables Haven homeless shelter and her local Kiwanis club.

"Barb is committed to improving the lives of others, and we are honored to have her as the MDRT Foundation President," said Jennifer A. Borislow, CLU, MDRT president. "Barb's tireless efforts will help us continue to harness the power of thousands of MDRT members in order to make a difference around the world."
