The American College has named Julie A. Ragatz director of the Center for Ethics in Financial Services.
Ragatz joined the center in 2006 as a doctoral fellow and was later named the center's associate director. She has a master's degree in social and political philosophy from Marquette University and is finishing her Ph.D. in philosophy at Temple University.
In 2008, Ragatz designed and implemented an Ethical Issues in the Accounting Environment course for the masters of accounting program at Villanova University. She also teaches regularly at the American College's Richard D. Irwin Graduate School and has published numerous articles and book chapters on ethical theory and business ethics.
