htower announced Monday that VWG Wealth Management, a breakaway RIA team from Morgan Stanley, joined Hightower over the weekend, making it the first firm in the Washington, D.C., and Virginia area to join the Chicago-based RIA firm led by Elliot Weissbluth (left).
Based in Vienna, Va., VWG was named to Barron's list of Top 1000 Financial Advisors in both 2010 and 2011. VWG is led by John Verfurth, Richard Weeks and Jeff Grinspoon, who will serve as managing directors and partners at HighTower.
