Josh O'Gara, CLU, a brokerage manager at First American Insurance Underwriters in Needham, Mass., recently passed his qualifying tests for the Chartered Financial Consultant, or ChFC, designation.

O'Gara has been with First American since 2008, when he joined in a sales support position. He was promoted to brokerage manager in 2010 and works with insurance agents in life insurance, annuities, disability insurance and long-term care insurance.
O'Gara holds a bachelor's in economics from St. Lawrence University and received his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation from the American College in 2010.
