Whenever Life Insurance Selling runs an article about or by noted Final Expense expert Alan Benedict, the comment box quickly starts to fill up. Such is the case this month, as our cover feature in the May issue about Benedict (Dancing with the Star of Final Expense), which includes a sidebar (The Final Expense Waltz) about selling final expense written by Benedict himself, has steadily remained among the most-read articles at www.lifeinsuranceselling.com since we posted it May 1.

His simplistic message of specializing in one basic product clearly resonates with many readers who might be searching for just the right niche themselves. This month's Producer Profile article, and the one he penned for the magazine in March of 2010 (Insider Secrets of a Final Expense Specialist), have drawn praise from dozens of readers who express interest in emulating Benedict's one-product approach. Not a big surprise, as Benedict's infectious enthusiasm for selling inexpensive burial insurance can make a decidedly unsexy product suddenly seem very attractive.

If you have even a remote interest in adding Final Expense to your repertoire — or making it your exclusive focus as Benedict suggests — you owe it to yourself to click on the links to the articles above.
