W&S Financial Group Distributors, the wholesale distribution agency for annuities and life insurance within Western & Southern Financial Group, has named George A. Charkales its regional vice president for broker-dealers in New England.
In his new role, Charkales will work as a consultant with financial professionals in the New England broker-dealer distribution channel, providing professional development, product information and sales support.
"George has nearly two decades of success in the financial services industry, more than half of them with Western & Southern member company Integrity Life Insurance Company," says Michael S. Wytiaz, CFP, senior vice president of broker-dealer distribution for W&S Financial Group Distributors. "With an impressive record of supporting the needs of financial professionals, George will be an asset in identifying and developing strategic opportunities to increase market penetration, enhancing solution-based business methods and fostering productive, consultative relationships that attract and retain clients."
Before joining W&S Financial Group Distributors, Charkales served as a regional marketing director for Integrity Life Insurance Company and as a regional vice president for Universal Financial Consultants. He has a bachelor's in advertising from the University of Bridgeport.
