Baier named GAMA president

John BaierJohn Baier, CLU, ChFC, CFP, CLF, has been named president of GAMA International.

As the professional association's 61st president, Baier will oversee a volunteer organization of 5,400 members that's dedicated to the professional development of field leaders in the insurance and financial services industry.

Baier is managing partner of New York Life's New Jersey general office and has been with New York Life his entire career, since 1970. He holds a bachelor's degree from Seton Hall University and a master's in financial services from The American College.
