According to a survey by Senior Helpers, an in-home care provider, mothers and fathers view differently how their sons and daughters will care for them as they age. Seventy percent of mothers surveyed say they would choose to live with their daughters over their sons, and almost as many, 68 percent, say their daughters will take better care of them as they age than their sons would. Sixty-five percent of mothers also believe their daughters would more likely want them to live with them than their sons would.
Yet fathers are nearly split on who they would prefer to move in with and on who will take better care of them as they age.
