Former President George W. Bush and former U.K. Prime Minister Gordon Brown are scheduled to speak at the Insite 2011 conference in Hollywood, Fla., from June 8 to 10, conference sponsor Pershing LLC, a BNY Mellon company, announced Tuesday.
According to the announcement, Bush will share insights from his eight years in the White House, and talk about his experiences with world leaders and the nature of public leadership and decision-making.
According to SpeakerWiki, the United States' 43rd president charges $150,000 to give a keynote address.
Brown, also a former chancellor of the exchequer, will highlight his experiences as a political leader and discuss how international policy affects monetary and fiscal decisions in today's global economy.
Also on Pershing Insite 2011's docket of presenters is Richard Hoey, chief economist of BNY Mellon and The Dreyfus Corp., who will discuss his global and economic outlooks for 2011 and 2012.
Insite 2011 is expected to attract more than 1,200 attendees, including investment professionals, independent RIAs, dually-registered and hybrid advisors, as well as product and marketing executives.
