Producers have spoken: LinkedIn and Twitter are your favorite social media sites. But is there something we're missing?
In the 2010 Independent Brokerage Study, conducted by ASJ's publisher Agent Media in partnership with the National Association of Independent Life Brokerage Agencies, 26 percent of agents use LinkedIn to network with other insurance professionals, the largest percentage of any other social media site used for that task (17 percent use Facebook for networking with professionals, and 43 percent don't use any social media tools to do this).
And when it comes to networking with clients and prospects, 24 percent of agents prefer Facebook, and 21 percent use LinkedIn.
