Auslander to Lead FPA

Paul Auslander will be the 2011 president-elect at the Financial Planning Association (FPA).

Auslander, chairman of American Financial Advisors Inc., Orlando, Fla., is a registered representative. He is on track to succeed Martin Kurtz and become the FPA president Jan. 1, 2012.

Auslander has held many leadership roles in the FPA in Florida, including president of FPA of Central Florida.

He holds the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation.

The FPA board also has added 6 new directors. One of the new FPA directors is Archibald Hoxton IV.

Hoxton, who holds the CFP designation, is president of Hoxton Financial Inc., Shepherdstown, W. Va. He has been president of the Eastern Panhandle Association of Life Underwriters.
