Wilmington Trust has added three advisors from Bank of America Merrill Lynch to its Wealth Advisory Services business in the Northeast region, the firm announced Wednesday.
The new hires are Walter Dillingham, who will serve as a managing director and business development officer, and John Lawson and Leigh Weiss, who will serve as managing directors and investment advisors. They will work in the New York office of Wilmington Trust FSB, specializing in serving the endowments and foundations market.
Dillingham most recently was director of philanthropic management at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. He held a similar at Bank of America's predecessor Fleet Bank, which he joined in 2000. He also previously worked at David L. Babson & Co. and Standard & Poor's Corp.
