Robert Collins has re-joined Wilmington Trust's Wealth Advisory Services as director of tax-exempt fixed income management and senior portfolio manager. Wilmington Trust has fixed-income assets under management of more than $21.5 billion.

Starting in 1982, Collins was with the Wilmington Trust's Wealth Advisory Services fixed-income management group for 17 years, leading the tax-exempt division "for several years," the announcement stated, before he left. In the interim, he was a senior vice president and senior portfolio manager of tax-exempt municipal bonds at Delaware Investments in Philadelphia.

"Rob is one of the original architects of Wilmington Trust's tax-exempt bond investment policy and management practices, which place a heavy emphasis on credit research," said Christopher Madel, director of investment implementation for Wilmington Trust Investment Management, in Tuesday's announcement. "We are pleased to welcome him back to Wilmington Trust as a senior leader in our Fixed Income Group."
