In an effort to raise funds for the Northeast Spinal Cord Injury Association and the Zachery Weinstein foundation, Legacy Financial Advisors Inc., Milford, Mass., sponsored the fourth annual Codger Cup at Wedgewood Pines, Stow, Mass.
Zack Weinsten, who grew up in Needham, Mass., is paralyzed from the chest down after a canoeing accident. Despite his injuries, the Skidmore College graduate is pursuing an acting career and has guest-starring roles on Fox's "Glee" and an upcoming episode CBS' "NCIS."
Zack's parents, Adrian and Elliot Weinstein, are longtime friends of Legacy principals Linda and Paul J. Mauro, and inspired the Mauros to promote spinal cord injury awareness.
