Harris myCFO Names John Benevides Head of Family Office Services

Harris myCFO has appointed John Benevides president for family office services, the firm announced Monday. He will be based in the Chicago corporate headquarters.

Benevides will provide strategic and operational leadership for the firm's family office services team, a statement said. He will also be responsible for developing and marketing new, multi-family office service offerings targeted to meet the financial needs of ultra-affluent families and individuals that Harris myCFO serves.

"John is highly respected throughout the industry for his insight and depth of understanding of the ultra-affluent marketplace and the family office services model," Joe Calabrese, president of Harris myCFO, said in the statement. "His contributions will be invaluable to our organization as we continue our drive to become the premier provider of investment advisory and family office services in the nation."

Benevides, a financial services industry veteran, most recently served as president of the Family Office Exchange. Before that, he was managing director of financial services for the Corporate Executive Board.

Benevides currently serves as chairman of the executive committee for the 1,200+ member Family Business Network of the Young Presidents Organization.

Harris myCFO is a member of the Harris family of wealth management services.
