The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has created a new page on its website it says is dedicated to documenting the agency's adherence to its new responsibilities under the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act.

The SEC said the page contains accomplishments to date and the planned implementation schedule. There are links to summaries of each of the principal areas of SEC rulemaking under the Act. Each summary links to the timeline and vice versa. Visitors will also be able to access SEC rule releases and public comments.

The site will soon have information about the Act's other requirements, including the required SEC studies and new offices.

"We hope this new Web section will prove a valuable resource for you," the site reads. "Please feel free to share with your colleagues. And if you have any suggestions for the site, please pass them along."
