In response to "How to make a million dollars"
Working smarter is the key. I agree. The most productive and most effective sales prospecting strategy is referral sales. It's not about drumming up interest. It is about adopting a proactive, disciplined, referral-sales process that gets you in front of the clients you want to meet and enables you to convert sales prospects to clients more than 50 percent of the time. Adopt referral selling and watch your production soar!

In response to "Good questions help pre-qualify your prospects"
These, other than the first one, are unreasonable questions to ask someone you have never met and over the phone. Why would someone who does not know me from Adam tell me about their assets.

In response to "There's no such thing as a warm call"
Thank you for making the point that if it isn't a warm lead then it is a cold call, period. I do believe that cold calls have their place in that they can infuse new blood into your practice. There's nothing like cold calling to keep you humble, too! Networking is overrated, in my opinion, because it takes the attention off of what you're really doing, that is, cold calling.
