ASPPA College of Pension Actuaries has given the Edward E. Burrows Distinguished Achievement Award to Robert Schramm.
The college, part of the American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries, Arlington, Va., gives the award each year to a pension actuary who has set an example of excellence for other actuaries.
Schramm, president of Retirement Systems Management Corp., Salt Lake City, is an expert on cash balance plans and other pension actuarial topics, and he also has been active in efforts to enhance communications between retirement plan regulators and actuaries in the field, ASPPA says.
