RBC Advisor Services Appoints Christian Wid?n Senior Vice President

RBC Advisor Services continues to expand. The custody, brokerage and wealth management provider for RIAs announced Tuesday, August 17, that Christian Wid?n has joined the firm as a senior vice president. Wid?n will be responsible for all aspects of new business development.

"Our mission is to seek out the best and brightest advisors, and we are dedicated to working with outstanding individuals like Christian to meet that goal," said Craig Gordon, Director of RBC Correspondent and Advisor Services said in a statement. "Christian's stellar experience in financial services, with a focus on the RIA market, as well as his understanding of the needs of high net worth investors is essential to our RBC Advisor Services team. We welcome his depth of knowledge in this business."

Wid?n has 15 years' experience working in the financial services industry, with a focus on RIA custody, clearing and brokerage services. He previously served as a vice president with J.P. Morgan and as a managing director with Bear Stearns & Co. Inc. He was also a vice president for Fidelity Investments Institutional Wealth Services.

Wid?n will be located in New York City. He holds a B.S. degree in International Business, an MBA in Management from Johnson & Wales University and is a CFA charter holder.
