In a PR push to sell seniors on the Affordable Care Act, 84-year old Andy Griffith of "Matlock" fame will appear in a television commercial touting the benefits of the new law, reports the Christian Science Monitor.
The ad has Griffith reassuring viewers that their current benefits will not change. "This year, like always, we'll have our guaranteed benefits," he says, promising "more good things" in the future, such as free check-ups and more affordable drugs.
