The fundraising arm of the American College has picked a New England Financial managing partner to be its new chairman.

The new chairman of the American College Foundation board of directors, Reginald Rabjohns, is a current member of the American College board of trustees and a former president of the Million Dollar Round Table, Park Ridge, Ill, the college says.

Rabjohns has been a managing partner with New England Financial, a unit of MetLife Inc., New York, (NYSE:MET), since 1997.

Rabjohns became the youngest MDRT life member when he was just 27.

Rabjohns is believed to be the only person to have served as the president of the Chicago Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, the Chicago chapter of GAMA International and the Chicago Society of Financial Service Professionals.

Rabjohns holds the Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant professional designations.
