Vicky Gregg will be succeeding Jay Gellert as chairman of America's Health Insurance Plans.
Gregg, a nurse, is president of BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee Inc., Chattanooga, Tenn.
In 2004, former Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist, R-Tenn., appointed Gregg to the U.S. National Institutes of Health Commission on Systemic Interoperability, which promoted efforts to develop a nationwide electronic health records network.
