LifeSecure adds Douglas Hamm as new vice president

LifeSecure Insurance Company, Brighton, Mich., has announced the appointment of Douglas Hamm as Vice President of Sales. In his new role, Hamm will focus on driving the long-term care insurance company's national sales strategies as well as directly contribute to the development of distribution initiatives to accelerate its market growth.

"In our search for a vice president of sales, we were looking for someone with experience in creating sales strategies that would capitalize on our innovative technology-based insurance products and solutions and position us as a leader in the industry. We are confident that Doug's record of success with implementing emerging market sales strategies combined with his experience in motivating and directing sales teams will get us there."

Hamm brings to LifeSecure more than 16 years of insurance sales leadership. Prior to joining LifeSecure, he was vice president of sales, with Assurity Life Insurance Company. Over the course of his career, he has held leadership positions at various Fortune 500 insurance companies, establishing and growing long-term care sales divisions. Hamm's specific expertise in electronic and Web-based sales solutions will be tapped to further improve LifeSecure's already industry-leading sales processing procedures.

Hamm earned his bachelor's degree from Oklahoma State University and holds a MBA from Southern Nazarene University in Bethany, Okla. He will be relocating from Lincoln, Neb. to work from the LifeSecure headquarters in Brighton, Mich.
