AlphaStaff Group Inc. has hired John Gibson to be chief executive officer.
Gibson succeeds Jay Starkman at AlphaStaff, Fort Lauderdale, Fla. James Madden continues to be the chairman of the professional employer organization.
Gibson previously was president of the human resources management division at Convergys Corp., Cincinnati.
He has a bachelor's degree in economics and political science from Indiana University. He serves on the global board of the HR Outsourcing Association, Roseland, N.J.
