What are the biggest expenditures you have planned for the summer?

We have major repairs to do on our house. We want to eventually sell it and downsize to a condo, but right now the place is run down after 40 years of living there. We almost have to start from scratch. It makes me sick thinking about it.

Probably, our annual summer vacation to Hawaii. We have a timeshare on the big island and have been going there every summer the past 10 years with our kids and grandkids. There's nine of us now in all and me and my wife pay for everybody so it gets pretty steep.

We're taking a cruise this summer in Greece with a group of our best friends. This will not be cheap either. We like to take a cruise or two every year. My favorite one was in Alaska a few years back.

We're big donors to the University of Tennessee so I have a big check to write them for our seats in the club section although after all the nonsense that's gone on the past couple years I'm finding it harder and harder to write the check.
