Assurant Employee Benefits has introduced a fully insured vision plan.
Assurant Employee Benefits, Kansas City, Mo., a unit of Assurant Inc., New York (NYSE:AIZ), developed the vision plan with Vision Service Plan Inc., Rancho Cordoba, Calif.
VSP is supplying the provider network and claim-processing support.
Benefits include coverage for contacts, eyeglasses and yearly eye exams.
To sweeten the deal, Assurant Employee Benefits will make a donation to Lions Club International on behalf of every brokers who asks for a vision plan sales presentation.
