Tech Bits: Benefitfocus, Blue Frog

Lifestyle Benefits Corp. has agreed to offer benefits administration technology services from Benefitfocus.com Inc. to its employer clients.

Lifestyle Benefits, Swartz Creek, Mich., will use the Benefitfocus HR InTouch Application system to provide a portal that can handle benefits enrollment, employee communications, wellness programs and video messaging, according to Benefitfocus, Charleston, S.C.

Lifestyle Benefits will call the online enrollment system the CorePlus InSync service for its clients.

Benefitfocus hosts HR InTouch on its own servers.

In other insurance technology news, Miningham & Oellerich Inc., New York, a financial professional home office support firm, has agreed to use technology from Blue Frog Solutions Inc., Pompano Beach, Fla.

M&O will provide the technology that sales reps use to open accounts and comply with federal books and recordkeeping regulations.

M&O then will direct financial professionals to the Blue Frogs AFFIRM annuity and life insurance order entry system.
