Engine Company 1, San Francisco, is developing a network and cable television campaign that will start appearing in the fall, according to Pacific Life, Newport Beach, Calif.
Mediaspot Inc., Corona del Mar, Calif., continues to be Pacific Life's media buyer and agency of record.
Humpback whales will continue to appear in Pacific Life ads, the company says.
In other insurance advertising news, Humana Inc., Louisville, Ky. (NYSE:HUM), has selected Omnicom Group Inc., New York, to be its primary national advertising and marketing agency.
Humana says it expects Omnicom to strengthen the health insurer's brand in the United States and globally and to achieve "significant cost savings" by consolidating advertising and marketing tasks now handled by several different agencies.
