Aetna Inc. (NYSE:AET) will roll out a new Healthy Lifestyle Coaching program Sept. 1.

The new program will combine access to programs for addressing issues such as weight management and stress management, along with access to one-on-one coaching sessions and other Aetna health and wellness services, according to Aetna, Hartford (NYSE:AET).

Aetna has had health coaching programs in place in the past, but now program staffers will have more access to the company's care management system, the company says.

The new program also will be available to employees of employer customers who are not necessarily enrolled in an Aetna health plan. The option means the Aetna program can serve all employees at an employer that offers a choice of health carriers.
