OptumHealth is providing a free telephone hotline aimed at people who are coping with the effects of the recent earthquakes and aftershocks in northwestern Mexico and southern California.

A 7.2 magnitude earthquake hit Baja California, Mexico, April 4, and after shocks have been rattling residents ever since.

Today, for example, a dozen aftershocks with a magnitude of 3.0 or higher hit Baja California, southern California or both, between midnight and 4 p.m.

OptumHealth, a division of UnitedHealth Group Inc., Minnetonka, Minn. (NYSE:UNH), says the toll-free help lines it is setting up will provide counseling services in English and Spanish.
