Great West Seeks Business Development Director

Great-West Retirement Services is seeking to expand its presence in the K-12 and higher education market segments by hiring a dedicated business development director.

"We believe we have a growing opportunity in the education market as more institutions consolidate the number of providers serving their plans due to changes in the regulatory environment," says Chris Cumming, senior vice president of the Great-West, Greenwood Village, Colo. a business unit of Great-West Life & Annuity Insurance Co.. "To capitalize on that opportunity, we are hiring a dedicated business development director who will be responsible for increasing awareness of our comprehensive retirement plan service capabilities in the education markets.

"The business development director will work closely with other sales executives to enhance our presence by developing sales strategies, products and services specifically for the K-12 market," he adds. "This individual also will support selling activities by identifying key education market advisors and consultants."
