The National Foundation for Credit Counseling (NFCC) announced Wednesday, March 31, that it launched a financial Web site in Spanish, www.termineconsudeuda.org, to increase the number of financial tools available to Hispanics.

Gail Cunningham, spokesperson for the NFCC, the nation's largest nonprofit credit counseling organization, said that because the tough economy has hit Hispanics particularly hard, "the NFCC stepped up to the plate and created a new Web site in Spanish as a financial resource tool."

Among the financial education tools available on the site, consumers will find a Consumer Tips section relevant to their everyday concerns. Located within this area are a Budget Worksheet, multiple calculators and consumer tips articles. Additionally, information is provided for those needing housing counseling or fearing foreclosure, along with an overview of the bankruptcy process for those in deep financial distress.
