Hartford Financial Services Group Inc., Hartford (NYSE:HIG), says it now how has 8 consultants on the defined contribution investment only team.
The DCIO consultants are courting sponsors of 401(k) plans, 457 plans and 403(b) plans that have made arrangements to handle plan administration but still want help with managing the investment of plan assets.
The DCIO consultants are focusing on the sale of fixed annuities and mutual funds to those plans, Hartford says.
The Hartford menu offers about 50 options.
