America Saves and the American Savings Education Council plan to start America Saves Week Feb. 21, 2010.
America Saves, Washington, and ASEC, Washington, will be using several public service announcements from ASEC, including a PSA featuring "SavingsMan," to describe "strategies for achieving financial success," ASEC says.
America Saves, ASEC and other groups began organizing the America Saves Week event in 2007 in an effort to promote personal savings.
America Saves Week has the support of companies such as MetLife Inc., New York, and industry groups such as the Association for Advanced Life Underwriting, Falls Church, Va.
