Relatively new to the wealth management scene, HighTower tops the list with $15 billion in AUM that all came to the RIA world from wirehouses. Atlantic Trust is neck-and-neck, however, with $14.996 billion. The two lead the pack by far in AUM, but have a vastly different number of clients.
