Former CBS News reporter Bernie Goldberg (his book "Bias" is a great read) recently coined the term "LameStream Media." It seems especially apt today. Due to their inability to climb out of the Obama campaign tank, you've not likely heard of the November 18th letter that Douglas Elmendorf, Director of the Congressional Budget Office sent to the "Honorable" (their honorific, not mine) Harry Reid.
Despite the rosy pronunciations being made by the Democrats in Congress, the CBO (in conjunction with the Joint Committee of Taxation) has found that by 2019, taxpayers will pay $196 billion a year for ObamaCare and that it will leave 24 million Americans "uninsured." I confess – I am not sure what "uninsured" will mean once the insurance companies are crowded out by the government and their tilted playing field. What I am sure of is that the LameStream Media is too busy fawning over the same kind of wondrous predictions that were ascribed to Medicare, before it went over budget mere years after its enactment.
