The "administrative hassles" of qualifying life expectancy for small value life settlements are a thing of the past, says Life Settlement Leads, Inc (LSL) and Veris Settlement Partners, Inc.

Joining together, the two life settlement companies have announced a new method to quickly and confidently pre-qualify the likelihood of life settlement offers. The 5:15:500 Program utilizes fresh methods to determine life expectancy early on in the qualification process rather than at the end.

The 5:15:500 Program takes the waiting game out of life settlement offers by requiring a mere five minutes of an advisor's time, 15 minutes with the advisor's clients and can then provide an official LE report on insurance policies with a face value of $500,000 or less. Put together, the characteristics equal the program's title: 5:15:500.

According to Life Settlement Leads CEO Robert Gratti, previous methods have been problematic for agents in the past: "Administrative delays are a major deterrent preventing agents and brokers from pursuing life settlement transactions. Too often an agent will work with a client over weeks to complete medical questionnaires and applications…only to learn that the client doesn't fit the profile that suits buyers."

Veris director Russel Dorsett agreed, saying, "The premise of the 5:15:500 Program is to quickly and easily enable agents to obtain a client's LE, which is the most significant criteria for determining if a deal is viable." Both companies believe the new methodology will save clients and agents time.
