Boomers started the sexual revolution and the women's movement, but when searching for information, they're a traditional bunch. A study from Pew Research Center found that boomers depend overwhelmingly on television as their main source of information. Over three-quarters of boomers surveyed turn to the tube for national and international news.

The Internet is the main source of information for less than half of the adults surveyed, and, unsurprisingly, the vast majority of them are under 30. Only 29 percent of boomers said the Internet was their main source of information.
