A company that sells provider network services to insurers is offering states free health exchange services.

NaviNet Inc., Cambridge, Mass., has created the NaviNet Health Information Exchange package.

The package includes access to the NaviNet provider network, which has contractual relationships with 770,000 providers, along with the technology and services needed to communicate with the providers.

State governments and U.S. territories that want to set up or expand health data exchanges can use the package free of charge, NaviNet says.
