Community Health Plans of Washington has awarded Perot Systems Corp. a 5-year technology and business process services contract.
CHP Washington, Seattle, will have Perot, Plano, Texas, handle tasks such as claims processing, claims adjustments, enrollment, and premium billing, Perot says.
CHP Washington will be using Perot's Xcelys software system to process claims and run other business process services.
CHP Washington provides or administers for 240,000 Washington state residents.
