The state of Utah says it will use Internet technology from eHealth Inc. in a proposed Utah Health Exchange.

Utah wants to use the exchange to implement H.B. 133, a newly enacted health reform bill.

One component of the bill calls for creating a new website to help Utah residents buy individual and family health coverage.

EHealth, Mountain View, Calif., runs the eHealthInsurance.com website.

- Guardian Life Insurance Company of America, New York, will offer Web-based employee self-enrollment services for many existing Guardian dental, vision and life customers after initial enrollment.

Guardian also will offer personalized enrollment kits.

- Enwisen Inc., Novato, Calif., has released the AnswerSource Onboarding 4.3 system.

The Web-based system can help employers bring new employees on board.

The updated version provides new e-mail and notification features.

Users can set up e-mail warnings to go out when a database shows that there may be problems, such as an I-9 form that may be incomplete.

- MEDecision Inc., Wayne, Pa., will build interactive health education videos from Emmi Solutions L.L.C., Chicago, into its insurer-hosted electronic health record systems.
