A dental insurer will be building a discount care network from another company into its own discount card program.
Renaissance Life & Health Insurance Company of America, Okemos, Mich., will be making the Careington network, from Careington International Corp., Frisco, Texas, along with its Renaissance Healthy Savings Card program.
The Careington network offers discounts of 20% to 50% on dental procedures from a national network of about 62,000 dentists.
The Renaissance card program also will provide access to the WholeHealth Networks chiropractic and alternative medicine network, Renaissance says.
Healthways Inc., Franklin, Tenn., the company that runs the WholeHealth networks, offers discounts of 10% to 30% on care from about 30,000 practitioners.
