Thinking of opening a satellite office? Naples, Fla. or Scottsdale, Ariz. first come to mind. But it might be wise to look farther north. The state with the most baby boomers? That's right — Maine.
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, Maine tops the list, followed by Vermont and Montana (apparently, boomers like rural areas). Surprisingly, Florida doesn't even make the top 10, coming in at No.11. And Utah ranks last, with only 20 percent of the largest generation ever seen comprising the Beehive state's population.
