Golden Rule Adds Ancillary Products

Golden Rule Insurance Company has introduced new dental and vision products in 15 states and the District of Columbia.

Golden Rule, a unit of UnitedHealt Group Inc. Minnetonka, Minn., is rolling out dental plans with a vision coverage option in Michigan, Mississippi, New Mexico, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas, West Virginia and the District of Columbia.

The plans are open to consumers of all ages.

Consumers who enroll in the plans do not have to have other UnitedHealth coverage, Golden Rule says.

In Alabama, Arkansas, Missouri and Ohio, Golden Rule is adding a vision coverage option to its dental plans.

In Colorado, Kentucky and Wyoming, optional vision coverage will be made available to consumers buying new health coverage for individuals and families.

In Kansans and New Mexico, vision coverage will be made available as a supplement to Golden Rule health plans and Golden Rule dental plans.
