N.Y. Life Goes Mobile

New York Life Insurance Company now is making many of its Web services available through cellular telephones and through other hand-held mobile devices.

Consumers can use mobile phones to get information about the company's products and concepts such as retirement planning, according to New York Life, New York.

Consumers also can use a "Click-to-Call" feature to speak to a service representative about New York Life insurance, annuity, and long term care insurance products, and they also can use a search tool to find and call New York Life agents.

Would-be agents can use New York Life's new mobile services tools to start the agent application process.
