  • 20%: Percentage of the U.S. population by 2030 made up of senior citizens.
  • 40 million: Projected number of Americans over 65 in the next five years.
  • 4%: Average annual growth for Americans between 65 and 74 over the next 10 years.
  • 75%: Percentage of senior population growth housed in the West and South; however, these regions only account for 45 percent of senior housing.
  • 50%: Annual turnover for assisted living facilities.
