Horizon Blue Adds Individual Products

A Garden State carrier is introducing 3 plans.

Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield, a unit of Horizon Healthcare Services Inc., Newark, N.J., says it will sell the 3 new individual health plans along with its existing Horizon individual products.

The new plans are the Horizon Direct Access Plan A/50 70/50, which pays 70% for in-network care and 50% for out-of-network care; the Horizon Direct Access Plan C 80/70, which pays 80% for in-network care and 70% for out-of-network care; and the Horizon Direct Access Plan C 100/70, which pays 100% for in-network care and 70% for out-of-network care.
