Sub Launches UnitedHealthOne Policies

Golden Rule Insurance Company has put the name of its corporate parent on its new line of individual and family health insurance plans.

Golden Rule, Indianapolis, which has been a unit of UnitedHealth Group Inc., Minnetonka, Minn., since 2003, says it is selling the new products under the UnitedHealthOne brand.

The products include a monthly direct billing feature; a health savings account plan with coinsurance; a package of HSA-compatible preventive benefits; and a 24-month rate guarantee option.

The new products are available in Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Wisconsin, as well as the District of Columbia.

Applications are still in the pipeline in other states.
