A retirement plan vendor will be marketing an actively managed investment program as a default investment option for 401(k) plan members who fail to say how they want their plan assets allocated.

Lincoln National Corp., Philadelphia, says it has hired PMFM Inc., Watkinsville, Ga., to offer the Manage It For Me managed accounts program to Lincoln Director retirement plan customers.

The Managed It For Me program, part of PMFM's 401k Toolbox service, provides direct telephone access to specialists who can help retirement plan members manage plan investments.
